BioSo, the lunacy began just after the Goblet of Fire premier show, when

nerdraeg (that’d be me) decided to dedicate a parodied comic to an unfortunate friend (that’d be islanderfan2), who would not get to see the spiffing flick for some time yet. It was a perfect way to both give giggles and forget about thesis woes. It was a spur of the moment form of procrastination that ended around 200-something comments and a handful of requests later.In the words of all good B-movie Science Fiction-Horror films: OH NOES! I’ve created a Monsta!
My Journal being incredibly F’locked, it became terribly inconvenient to start leaving more personal posts open, all for the sake of craptacular comics. So, I’ve decided to re-locate them to a new home, namely,
parody_paint.Because declaimers are, like, so totally in right now, here is the official one used on my first comic, just fattened up, so no one feels the need to be all OMGSUE!
DISCLAIMER;
1. These comics serve as a *SPOOF*. I am a fan of Harry Potter (or, whatever else I might be poking for a laugh- Star Wars, VC, whatever strikes my fancy, and strikes it hard). I don’t want wingnuts trying to eat me with a spork for having a lark. Spoof. As in. ‘I made a funny!’ And sometimes, it isn’t even very witty.
2. No. It has no Spoilers. Unless you didn't know that Mad-Eye Moody kills Dumbledore. On that note, if it DOES have Spoilers
3. Watcha. (In honor of
jubeichan, heerojf, and sleepy_syusuke).4. No. I don't think the art here within is classy shiz. I think it would make my art teachers of the past melt like the Wicked Witch in a water park. Why MS Paint? Because photoshop baffles me, I’m too poor for a scanner, and doing word art is a frightening concept. Am I really a cheap-o, trying to copy the likes of
wizzart, and any other Computerified HP or Web comics you can think of? Uh. No. If you haven’t noticed… all computers come with MS Paint. If it makes you feel better, say I’m copying Picasso. Because that’d make him do flips in his grave.5. I like pie. You should too.
6. Your money back is guaranteed if you don't giggle, even a little, on the inside. (6a. Yes. This is free. So if you want your money back... give me some, and then we'll talk. Aka, I’m not selling, thus I am not doing the tango with copyright infringement, thus go away if you want my monies.)
7. If there are spelling errors, or if in parts this is incoherent... I care not. Embrace your inner flaw. Don't be afraid to be wrong. Keep your grammar to yourself-- I want nothing to do with it.
8. HAVE AT IT!
8a. No, this isn't serious, and this also is not intended to garner many friends. This is mainly for people I already know, because I heart them sumthin' good.
Friending Rule;
Anyone may feel free to Friend this journal, but it will not Friend you back. My personal journal is the only one added, so that I can monitor this thing-o from there, cause I’m lazy like that. All posts on
parody_paint will remain public so that anyone may see or comment to them. I will probably even reply to your comments on days where I lack a life. Furthermore, if you would like to friend my personal journal, nerdraeg, I probably don’t have any issue with it. Why don’t you go over there and Pimping n’ Credit, y’all—
If you would like to post links to these comics at various sites, or your LJ, or wherever, that’s fine. You do not need to ask my permission, as happened abundantly with the first comic. Just do so. Really. Go ahead. If you would like to post just the comic, sans link, make sure and credit it to
